The FCRA - Fairfax Center Recreation Association

The Fairfax Center Recreation Association, Inc. (FCRA) is a non-stock corporation whose primary function is to provide for the management, maintenance and care of the Recreation Facility. The Recreation Facility includes the swimming pool, tot lot, community room and any other improvements that will be constructed within the Recreation Facility property.

The members of the FCRA are:

  • The Wescott Ridge Homeowners Association (including all sub-associations);
  • The Ridgetop Commons Homeowners Association; and
  • The Parkside at Fairfax Center Homeowners Association.

All Wescott owners are automatically members of the FCRA. Your FCRA dues are included in the payment you make monthly to your HOA.

Community Clubhouse

The Fairfax Center Recreation Association (FCRA) is the organization formed to manage and maintain the pool, clubhouse, and tot lot located at 11550 Cavalier Landing Court – in the Wescott Ridge community. All members of Ridgetop Commons, Wescott Ridge, and Parkside at Fairfax Center HOAs are automatically members of the FCRA. FCRA dues are included in your monthly payments to your homeowners association. Meetings of the FCRA Board of Directors take place at the pool clubhouse on the second Thursday of every month.

The pool clubhouse features a kitchen, lots of room, comfortable furniture, a large-screen TV, a sound system, and a karaoke machine. The clubhouse is available for rental year-round by contacting Nancy Wagner at Service First Management & Consulting at 703-392-6006 x205. It costs $100 to rent and also requires a $200 security deposit.

Community Pool

The pool is typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Pool passes and more detailed information are mailed to owners who are current in their assessment payments in mid-May or earlier. Passes are mailed to owners only; if an owner wishes to give their passes to their tenants, they may do so. Replacement passes are available for a fee.
